Caveat programmer. The ExceptionNotifier gem is a great way to include email ping notifications in a Rails app on the off chance that an uncaught exception occurs. In fact, most Rails programmers use it.
Here's the conflict. As opposed to the plugin, the gem introduces a class Notifier, which conflicts with any user class Notifier (duh). Why is that important? Because many examples advocate collecting notification methods in a class called exactly that.
If you change to the gem and things begin magically failing with method not found errors in ExceptionNotifier::Notifier then you have found your culprit.
